How: Collected at signup.
Verification: We require a valid
.edu
email address to confirm college affiliation.
Profile Data
Optional fields you provide, such as profile photo, major, class schedule, interests, and bio.
Usage & Analytics
App usage events (e.g. app opens, screens viewed, buttons clicked, calendar events added or RSVPed)
Session metadata (timestamps, session duration)
Feature‑specific actions (e.g. joining a student org, sending an invite, syncing a schedule)
Collected via mobile analytics SDKs (e.g. Firebase Analytics or Mixpanel) and, for web, cookies/local storage
Device Information
Hardware model, operating system and version, device language, unique device identifiers, IP address, and mobile network information.
We do not collect precise location data.

We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to recognize you, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic.
2. How We Use Information

Personalization: Recommend student orgs and campus events based on your profile and usage.
Engagement Analytics: Measure Daily Active Users (DAU), session length/frequency, onboarding funnel, and feature adoption.
Communications: Send transactional emails and SMS (e.g. verification codes, password resets, important updates).
3. Information Sharing & Third‑Party Services
We do not sell your personal information or share it with marketing partners. We share the minimum necessary information with these trusted service providers to operate the Service:
Authentication & Messaging: Twilio (SMS verification)
Emails: SendGrid (transactional emails)
Analytics & Crash Reporting: Firebase Analytics, Sentry
Push Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging
Hosting & Storage: Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB)
You may view and manage certain cookies or similar technologies via your device or browser settings.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations.
You may delete your account (and associated data) at any time via the app’s “Delete Account” feature or by contacting us (see “Contact Us” below). After deletion, we will remove your personal data unless we are required by law to retain it.
5. Children & Minors
The Service is intended for users aged 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from someone under 13, please contact us to request deletion.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Service evolves. The “Last Updated” date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
